| Grace Pointe Sanctuary is currently meeting at Dayspring Christian Academy. Team members are Pastor Ronald and Pam Smith, Greg and Donna Payne, and Janice Smith. The name Grace was chosen because that is what we received when Jesus died for our sins; Pointe because we need direction and we must come to a place of decision for Christ; and Sanctuary because there is a refuge in Jesus. When Blacksburg is mentioned, most people think of Virginia Tech. Although the church welcomes all Hokies, it is not their first objective in reaching the area. Using Acts 1:8 as a guide, they desire to reach the Town of Blacksburg and the New River Valley (their Jerusalem and Judea); the western part of the state (their Samaria); and Virginia Tech (the uttermost part of the earth, because within the campus there are various people groups from around the world). The Grace Pointe Team is excited to see what God will do, for nothing is impossible with God! |
