Bishop - Church of God Virginia
Dr. Michael L. Baker
Dr. Michael L. Baker currently serves as the administrative bishop for the commonwealth of Virginia. With fourteen years experience in the local church, three years in higher education, and seventeen years in administration at the state and international levels of the Church of God, Dr. Baker has experience in the fields of pastoral ministry, administrative and executive leadership, media, public relations and much more. During the past thirty-four years, Dr. Baker has attained vast and mature experience in local church ministry, higher education and executive leadership.
During his ministry, Dr. Baker has served the Church of God and the evangelical community in a wide spectrum of ministry activities. For twelve years, Dr. Baker served the Church of God International Offices as the Director of Communications. He has experienced great success both within the Church of God and as a representative to a wide variety of external publics and religious groups. He served as the Coordinator of the Pentecostal World Conference in Jerusalem, Israel (1995) and Seoul, Korea (1998); Coordinator of the NAE (National Association of Evangelicals); consultant to many parachurch organizations as well as other denominations. He has a wealth of experience in communication skills including television, radio production, internet ministry and other cutting-edge technologies.
Dr. Baker has authored numerous articles and several books including recent editions of You and Your Church - Revised Edition, and editor of Jesus Walk. Foremost, he is an outstanding minister of the gospel, sharing in conferences, seminars and camp meetings across the U.S.
He holds academic degrees from Lee University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and East Coast Bible College. His wife Sharon is a vital part of every facet of their ministry. They have one daughter, Kysha, who is married to Byron Winters. |

Rev. David Hagee
Reverend David E. Hagee is a native of Virginia, where
he began his ministry in 1970, serving as an evangelist.
He has pastored for 24 years in the state of Virginia.
He brings leadership experience to the office, having served
as Evangelism and Ministerial Director from 1990 to 1994.
He also has served on the Virginia State Council, Evangelism
Board, and the State Youth and Christian Education Board.
He has chaired and served on many appointed boards and
committees in Virginia. His wife, Janice, has served on
the Virginia State Women's Ministries Board and has been
featured on state programs and at local churches. They
have a desire to serve Virginia in reaping this last days'
Harvest.

Sharon Baker
Sharon Baker has served the church in a variety of positions.
During the past 12 years, she has been coordinator of conference
management and media coordinator for the Church of God.
She also brings to Women’s Ministries experience
in local church ministry as a pastor’s wife, teacher,
musician and day care ministry administrator.

Janice Hagee
Janice and her husband have pastored for 26 years and
are presently serving for a 2nd term as Evangelism and
Ministerial Development Director for the state of Virginia.
Janice has also been involved in the music program of their
churches and has been active in helping provide leadership
to women’s ministries on the local, district, and
state level. Janice has served on the Virginia State Women's
Ministries Board and has been featured on state programs
and at local churches. She has been married to Bishop David
Hagee for 36 years and presently resides in Roanoke, Virginia.
They have two children, Joy and Eric, and five beautiful
grandchildren. |
