Journey Continues with Team in Romania
March 1, 2010 - Posted By KDS

Team consists of: Pastor Terry Swiney of Richmond-New Life, Pastor Chad Dunford of Wytheville-All Nations, Vance Beck and Timothy Smith (members from Wytheville-All Nations).

Thursday night the team went to Carrensebes with Pastor Corroban.  Tim and Vance greeted the people.  Terry gave a 10 minute exhortation and Chad gave the main message.  Visit from the Mayor on left. Roy Olson in middle. They had a great service and people were ministered to.  Terry was able to reconnect with the youth at the church.  The youth there are so very hungry for more of God in their life.

On Friday, the Mayor and a Councilman had lunch at Apa Vie.  They had a great time together and had prayer together before they left.

On Friday night, Terry and Chad went to two different villages and the churches were packed.  They had great services and God really ministered to the people.  20 people raised their hand to receive Christ!  Thanks be to God!

Below is an email from Roy Olson, our missionary to Romania regarding the conference on Saturday that Terry and Chad participated in.  See pictures included here. It was very successful and will have lasting rewards!  I know you will rejoice with the team for all that God is doing in Romania through them.  At the end of the conference they had an importation service where they prayed for all of the pastors and leaders.

Dear friends and supporters,
Col 1:9
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for  you, and to desire that  you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Your prayers are powerful and effective! Thank you!

We are in the middle of a Team Visit from pastors Terry Swiney and Chad Dunford.  These two men, along with Tim and (Ad)Vance have done a great job in their areas of ministry.  )

Tim and Vance - skilled craftsmen- prepared the Wooden Lodge so that we could hold the Conference there yesterday (Saturday) and then Terry and Chad took the conference and taught on the theme: "The Leading of the Holy Spirit." We started at 9am with breakfast and ended the conference with personal prayer for the attendees.

There were 45 leaders in attendance!

*One church leader said "Thank you for inviting me; I have needed this!"
*Another said "I have sensed the Presence of the Holy Spirit."
*After a time of questions and discussion another leader said "We need times like this!"

Please enjoy the photos and feel the passion of the visitation of the Holy Spirit among us.

Thank you for your part in making this happen!

With much gratitude and love,
Roy and Melania Olsen

Sunday morning Terry and Chad went to two different churches.  Again they had great services and the Lord really ministered.  Three people raised their hands to receive Christ!  Thanks again be to God.

Sunday night the team was back at Carrensebes for an evangelistic service and laying on of hands.  Terry gave the main message.  The team prayed for people in church who wanted more of God in their lives.  Almost everyone came through the prayer line.  The services are different in Romania than in America.  Most of our services we have altar calls and pray for people for various needs.  In Romania, laying on of hands is a special service and does not happen all the time.

Tonight (Monday) the team will be going to a village church.  Both Terry and Chad will be speaking.  Please remember them in your prayers as well as the pastor of the local church.
Tuesday night the team will be back at Carrensebes for a healing service.  Please be in prayer for the people at the church to receive their healings.

Thank you again for all your prayers that have supported the team in Romania.  It is greatly appreciated by me (and Holly, Chad's wife) knowing our husbands are lifted up in daily prayer by all of you!  I pray that God will bless you today in a special way as you have blessed this team with your prayers.
