This time was inevitable.  As I write this I am flooded with memories of six incredible years of work and life in Virginia.  When Jan and I were first confirmed to come here we could not have imagined how much we would fall in love with the people and the churches that comprise the Church of God in Virginia. 

We will ever be indebted to Dr. Michael and Sharon Baker for asking us to come and join them, and for the marvelous way that they have made us a part of the State Office team.  David and Janice Hagee have been tremendous friends and colleagues.  I must also thank all of the State Council members that we have served with.  Thank you so much for your support and encouragement.  It has been an honor to serve with each member of the State Youth and Christian Education board.  Along with their spouses we have been involved in six years of unprecedented ministry.  If I wrote a volume I could not list all of the lives that have been impacted.

This was indeed our time.  Thank you Virginia for making this time the time of our lives.  You have left an impression that will never go away.  Jan, Zak, Josh and I will not say goodbye.  We will say farewell and we forever cherish your friendship.
