We have just been notified at the State Office of the passing of Brother James E. Walker, Evangelist and Retired Minister of Radford. An excerpt from the obiturary for Brother Walker is below:

Rev. James E. Walker, 94, of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He went to meet his beloved Gaylord who passed away in April, 2018 and his daughter, Gloria Moore who passed in December 2018.

Jim was a member of West Radford Church of God and served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a minister with the Church of God and touched many lives with his ministry for over 60 years.

Funeral Arrangements:

Graveside service with full military honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 (5550 Bagging Plant Road; Dublin, Virginia 24084) with Pastor Danny Newman and Rev. Kenneth Poston officiating.

The Walker family is in the care of Mullins’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
