Since 1992, HOPE CHARITABLE SERVICES has developed a history of helping the poor both through its international ministry and local engagement with the inner city community of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Our vision is to change the fabric of our inner city and the world beyond, one person at a time.

Our mission is to develop a mission-guided community and the resources to transform our inner city. We do this by caring for at-risk children and adults, strengthening struggling families in Portsmouth and supporting those who seek to do the same in developing war torn nations.
