Funeral for Walter Carter - Youth Secretary Ashlee Chilcote's Grandfather

We extend our condolences to Ashlee Chilcote and her family for the recent loss of her Grandfather, Walter “Nick” Carter. Ashlee is the Youth Department’s Administrative Assistant at the VA State Office. She and her husband Dylan are also on staff at Dublin Church of God.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD with the Rev. Dylan O. Chilcote officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD on Thursday, October 19,2023 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Doey's House c/o Hospice of Washington County 1170 Underpass Way, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
