Ministry Opportunity as After School Director – Celebration Church (Roanoke)

The following position is open at Celebration Church of God in Roanoke, Virginia.

Full Time After-School Director Position:

Celebrate KIDS! is a faith-based after-school enrichment program designed to meet the academic, physical, social and spiritual needs of children in grades K - 6.  We offer a high quality program where children are loved, nurtured, and experience Christ in a real and relevant way.  This program is considered a vital outreach ministry of Celebration Church. 

The Director is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the after-school program which has approximately 60 children in attendance.  The Director is also responsible for planning and overseeing weekly full-day summer, winter, and spring camps with approximately 35 children. 

Qualifications include:  Passion for ministry; supervisory or administrative experience in childcare, church or school setting; experience working directly with school age children; experience developing, planning and implementing academic or enrichment activities; experience developing, planning, and implementing policies, procedures, and programs; Bachelor's degree and experience in a leadership role in a childcare, church or school setting.
